On the 19 December 2019, a bushfire passed through the area where water discharge point 1 is located and damaged flow monitoring equipment. The equipment was repaired on Monday 23 December however flow was not recorded for a period of 4 days.

Tahmoor Coal's PRP22 WTP not performing as required, numerous actions taken. EPA & Tahmoor in discussions for improvements so plant discharges meet environmental values in the Bargo River. New plant also considered as part of Tahmoor South Project.
